Step 1 - Apply for Global Entry
You must first apply for the Global Entry program through the DHS Trusted Traveler Programs website. You will be asked to pay a $120 fee for a 5 year membership. You will also have to fill out questions regarding your background.
Note: You are able to waive the $120 fee if you pay using one of these travel credit cards .
Start Your Global Entry ApplicationStep 2 - Wait for conditional approval
After your application has been submitted, you will have to wait for conditional approval. Conditional approval means that you have been pre approved for the Global Entry program, but you need to schedule an interview to finalize your application.
The conditional approval process can take anywhere from 24 hours to multiple months, depending on the volume of applications, your background, etc.
Step 3 - Schedule Your Global Entry interview
Congratulations! You've been conditionally approved for Global Entry. The next step is to schedule your interview at Huntsville Global Entry Enrollment Center.

Step 4 - Skip the Global Entry Interview wait time
You might notice that Huntsville Global Entry Enrollment Center is showing "No appointments available for this location", or the next appointment available is months out.
So what can you do?
Global Entry interview appointments are constantly cancelled, rescheduled, and added. This means that if you can monitor the interview slots, you can find an appointment that fits your schedule.

Directions: We are located at the Huntsville International Airport on the second floor near the TSA checkpoint.
Notes: Out of an abundance of caution and in the interest of minimizing exposure and controlling the spread of COVID-19, the CBP Huntsville Global Enrollment Center request you read the special instructions below before arriving for your appointment. There is no sign in sheet upon your arrival. Please take a seat in a chair provided outside of the office and wait for an officer to call your name. There will be limited seating available outside of the Enrollment Center and only those with appointments are asked to show up the day of your appointment. Please bring all required travel documentation (e.g. passport, U.S. permanent resident card, U.S. visas, etc.) and proof of residence (e.g. driver’s license, mail received at address, etc.). A list of required documentation can be found in your Conditional Approval Notification, which can be found under Notification in your TTP account. The Huntsville Airport requires all individuals entering the airport to wear a face covering and keep a CDC safe distance of 6 feet. Please reschedule your appointment, if you have been exposed to COVID-19 or are showing any signs of illness. The CBP Huntsville Global Enrollment Center will not be accepting any walk-in interviews. There will be hand sanitizer available for use during your interview.
