Step 1 - Apply for Global Entry
You must first apply for the Global Entry program through the DHS Trusted Traveler Programs website. You will be asked to pay a $120 fee for a 5 year membership. You will also have to fill out questions regarding your background.
Note: You are able to waive the $120 fee if you pay using one of these travel credit cards .
Start Your Global Entry ApplicationStep 2 - Wait for conditional approval
After your application has been submitted, you will have to wait for conditional approval. Conditional approval means that you have been pre approved for the Global Entry program, but you need to schedule an interview to finalize your application.
The conditional approval process can take anywhere from 24 hours to multiple months, depending on the volume of applications, your background, etc.
Step 3 - Schedule Your Global Entry interview
Congratulations! You've been conditionally approved for Global Entry. The next step is to schedule your interview at Houston Field Office GEEC.

Step 4 - Skip the Global Entry Interview wait time
You might notice that Houston Field Office GEEC is showing "No appointments available for this location", or the next appointment available is months out.

Directions: The Global Entry Enrollment Center is located in the Bellevue office building at 2323 South Shepherd Drive, Houston, Texas 77019, between Indiana St. and Fairview St. There is free parking in the back of the building (off of Huldy St). Upon entering the lobby, please take the elevator to the 13th floor. There will be signage directing you to the enrollment center. Please remain in the waiting area until your name is called. If you arrive more than 15 minutes before your scheduled interview time, please wait in the lobby before proceeding to the 13th floor. Please note that the office does not open until 3:30pm.
Notes: Please ensure that you bring all valid passports and current driver's license, as your application approval cannot be finalized without them. If the address on your driver’s license differs from your current mailing address, please bring a valid document with your current mailing address (utility bill, lease agreement). Applicants who arrive more than 15 minutes late will need to re-schedule their appointment for a later date.
