Step 1 - Apply for Global Entry
You must first apply for the Global Entry program through the DHS Trusted Traveler Programs website. You will be asked to pay a $120 fee for a 5 year membership. You will also have to fill out questions regarding your background.
Note: You are able to waive the $120 fee if you pay using one of these travel credit cards .
Start Your Global Entry ApplicationStep 2 - Wait for conditional approval
After your application has been submitted, you will have to wait for conditional approval. Conditional approval means that you have been pre approved for the Global Entry program, but you need to schedule an interview to finalize your application.
The conditional approval process can take anywhere from 24 hours to multiple months, depending on the volume of applications, your background, etc.
Step 3 - Schedule Your Global Entry interview
Congratulations! You've been conditionally approved for Global Entry. The next step is to schedule your interview at Kansas City Enrollment Center.

- Click on the "Chose This Location" button to see the available timeslots at Kansas City Enrollment Center
Step 4 - Skip the Global Entry Interview wait time
You might notice that Kansas City Enrollment Center is showing "No appointments available for this location", or the next appointment available is months out.
So what can you do?
Global Entry interview appointments are constantly cancelled, rescheduled, and added. This means that if you can monitor the interview slots, you can find an appointment that fits your schedule.

Directions: The Kansas City, Global Entry Enrollment Center, is in the new MCI Airport Terminal at the far South end of the Arrivals Hall past baggage claim #8. Parking is available in the multistory parking garage attached to the terminal. Have a seat in the CBP Lobby, your name will be called at the time of your appointment. There is no requirement to sign in or notify us of your arrival.
Notes: Interviews are conducted on a 1 to 1 basis. Family group interviews are prohibited, however children under the age of 16 will be permitted to be escorted by a parent or legal guardian. Also note that to complete the interview process a picture must be taken of the applicant for the profile. Masks and/or face coverings must be removed for the digital image capture. Walk-in Interviews are permitted for passport updates, name changes and APEC Signatures only. You must have your actual Passport at the time of interview. Copies or pictures are not acceptable.
