Global Entry Interview Guide

This guide will help with everything you need to know to prepare for and book your Global Entry interview at Port Huron Enrollment Center (YZR).

Step 1 - Apply for Global Entry

You must first apply for the Global Entry program through the DHS Trusted Traveler Programs website. You will be asked to pay a $120 fee for a 5 year membership. You will also have to fill out questions regarding your background.

Note: You are able to waive the $120 fee if you pay using one of these travel credit cards .

Step 2 - Wait for conditional approval

After your application has been submitted, you will have to wait for conditional approval. Conditional approval means that you have been pre approved for the Global Entry program, but you need to schedule an interview to finalize your application.

The conditional approval process can take anywhere from 24 hours to multiple months, depending on the volume of applications, your background, etc.

Step 3 - Schedule Your Global Entry interview

Congratulations! You've been conditionally approved for Global Entry. The next step is to schedule your interview at Port Huron Enrollment Center (YZR).

FROM DETROIT OR FLINT TAKE I-94 EAST INTO PORT HURON exit#275, at the light turn LEFT, stay in the LEFT turn lane. As soon as you go under the bridge, merge into the left turn lane, TURN LEFT into the CUSTOMS PARKING LOT (before the traffic light). FROM CANADA - TAKE DOWNTOWN EXIT (on right) OFF OF BRIDGE, go to the traffic signal and turn RIGHT (Hancock St), next traffic light is PINE GROVE, turn RIGHT, stay in right hand lane; and go past the traffic light (Bridge to Canada), turn RIGHT into the CUSTOMS PARKING LOT ON RIGHT(fenced in area before you go under bridge) after the light. >Our office is in the structure of the bridge. The entry doors are the glass double doors which go into a vestibule, ring the intercom & let them know you are here for your appointment. The Enrollment Center in on the 2nd Floor.
