Step 1 - Apply for Global Entry
You must first apply for the Global Entry program through the DHS Trusted Traveler Programs website. You will be asked to pay a $120 fee for a 5 year membership. You will also have to fill out questions regarding your background.
Note: You are able to waive the $120 fee if you pay using one of these travel credit cards .
Start Your Global Entry ApplicationStep 2 - Wait for conditional approval
After your application has been submitted, you will have to wait for conditional approval. Conditional approval means that you have been pre approved for the Global Entry program, but you need to schedule an interview to finalize your application.
The conditional approval process can take anywhere from 24 hours to multiple months, depending on the volume of applications, your background, etc.
Step 3 - Schedule Your Global Entry interview
Congratulations! You've been conditionally approved for Global Entry. The next step is to schedule your interview at Miami Seaport.

- Click on Miami Seaport
- Click on the "Chose This Location" button to see the available timeslots at Miami Seaport
Step 4 - Skip the Global Entry Interview wait time
You might notice that Miami Seaport is showing "No appointments available for this location", or the next appointment available is months out.
So what can you do?
Global Entry interview appointments are constantly cancelled, rescheduled, and added. This means that if you can monitor the interview slots, you can find an appointment that fits your schedule.

Directions: FROM WEST: Take FL-836 E (toll road) to Miami. Continue on FL-836 E/I-395 E. Keep right to continue on MacArthur Causeway. Use the left 2 lanes to take the Miami Beach exit. Continue onto Port Miami Tunnel. Keep to your left and follow the signs for cruise terminals. Follow the signs for Terminal D. The lanes will curve to the left. After the curve, Terminal D will be up ahead on the right. FROM NORTH: Take I-95 South. Use the left 2 lanes to take exit 2D toward I-395 E/Miami Beach. Merge onto MacArthur Causeway. Use the left 2 lanes to take the Miami Beach exit. Continue onto Port Miami Tunnel. Keep to your left and follow the signs for cruise terminals. Follow the signs for Terminal D. The lanes will curve to the left. After the curve, Terminal D will be up ahead on the right.
Notes: PLEASE BRING YOUR VALID, UNEXPIRED PASSPORT TO YOUR APPOINTMENT. PARKING: Do not pay to park! On non-cruise days, please park in front of Terminal D.
