Getting Started

How does Global Entry Alerts work?

We monitor the official DHS Trusted Traveler website every few minutes and send you SMS alerts when new appointment slots become available at your selected locations. When you get an alert, you need to act fast - appointments typically fill within 2-5 minutes.

Do I need to have applied for Global Entry first?

Yes! You must first apply for Global Entry at ttp.cbp.dhs.gov and receive "Conditional Approval" status before you can book interview appointments. Our service alerts you when slots open, but you still need to book through the official website.

How much does it cost?

Our alert service costs $19.99 for 30 days of monitoring. This is separate from the $100 Global Entry application fee paid to the government. Many premium travel credit cards reimburse the government fee.

Using the Service

I got an alert! What do I do now?

⚡ Act immediately:

  1. Go to ttp.cbp.dhs.gov (not a third-party site)
  2. Login to your Trusted Traveler account
  3. Navigate to "Schedule an Appointment"
  4. Select your location and book the earliest available slot

💡 Pro tip: Stay logged into the site on your phone for fastest booking

How often do you send alerts?

We check for new appointments every 2-3 minutes during business hours and every 5 minutes during off-hours. You'll only receive one alert per location per day to avoid spam, unless you specifically opt for priority alerts.

Can I change my locations after signing up?

Yes! Visit your dashboard to update your preferred locations, phone number, and other preferences at any time.

Troubleshooting

I got an alert but no appointments are showing on the website

This is normal! Appointments fill extremely quickly - often within 2-3 minutes. Our alerts give you the earliest notification, but you're competing with other alert services and people manually checking the site.

Keep your account logged in and be ready to book immediately when you receive the next alert.

I'm not receiving any alerts

Check these common issues:

  • Make sure your Global Entry application status is "Conditional Approval" (not "Pending Review")
  • Verify your phone number is correct in your dashboard
  • Check if you've been sent alerts recently (we limit to one per location per day)
  • Ensure you haven't blocked our number or marked messages as spam

The website says "No appointments available" for my location

This is expected! Most locations show "No appointments available" most of the time. That's exactly why you need our alert service - we notify you the moment appointments become available, which is usually only for a few minutes before they're booked.

How do I stop receiving alerts?

Reply "STOP" to any alert message, or visit your dashboard to pause or cancel your alerts. You can also email us at info@globalentryalerts.com.

Technical Details

Is this service affiliated with the government?

No, Global Entry Alerts is an independent service. We are not affiliated with CBP, DHS, or the official Global Entry program. We monitor publicly available appointment data and provide notifications as a convenience service.

How accurate are your alerts?

Our alerts are based on real-time data from the official DHS website. However, appointments can be cancelled or rebooked by other users between our checks, so there's always a small chance an alert may not result in a bookable appointment.

What happens to my data?

We only store your phone number, email, and location preferences to provide the service. We do not share your information with third parties and you can delete your account at any time by contacting us.
